Gun Mayhem in West London: Man Shot Dead After Bank and Bookies Raid
Drama exploded on Marloes Road, W8, at 3.04pm on Saturday, 11 December, when police were alerted to a man wielding a firearm entering a bank and a bookmakers.
Chase Ends in Gunfire
The suspect jumped into a vehicle and sped off. By 3.19pm, armed officers intercepted the car at the junction of Kensington Road and Palace Gate, SW7. Shots rang out during the stop. A man suffered gunshot wounds at the scene.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
The London Ambulance and Air Ambulance were called immediately. Despite frantic efforts, the man was declared dead at 4.08pm. Police are working to confirm his identity and notify next of kin.
