Teen Armed Robber Caught Red-Handed by Armed Police in Dalston

A 16-year-old teen has been arrested after a shocking armed robbery on a busy Dalston street.

Phone Snatched, Suspect Pulls Gun

Police rushed to Kingsland High Street, Dalston, at 11:34am on Sunday, 19 November, following a report of a stolen mobile phone.

The victim confronted the thief moments later — only for the suspect to brandish a firearm, raising alarm among bystanders.

High-Speed Foot Chase Ends in Arrest

Armed officers quickly swarmed the area, launching a search that ended in Pellerin Road, N16.

The 16-year-old was tracked down on foot and arrested on suspicion of robbery and firearms possession.

Firearm and Stolen Phone Recovered

The stolen phone and a loaded firearm were recovered at the scene. The teen was taken into custody at an East London police station for questioning.
