Teen Stabbed in Broad Daylight on Isle of Dogs
An 18-year-old man was rushed to hospital this afternoon after a shocking stabbing near Millwall Park on the Isle of Dogs, East London. The attack happened in broad daylight close to the Island Gardens DLR station, leaving the local community stunned.
Emergency Services Swarm the Scene
At around 2:23 pm on 27 December 2023, multiple ambulances and police cars flooded Manchester Road, right by Millwall Park’s entrance. Paramedics found the teenager with stab wounds and gave urgent medical aid before speeding him to a nearby hospital. His current condition remains unknown.
Police Launch Investigation, Area Sealed Off
Officers have cordoned off the area, with a police tent spotted at the bottom of a ramp — a grim sign of how serious the incident is. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a heavy emergency presence, including one ambulance, two police cars, and about five other emergency vehicles parked along East Ferry Road, which links Mudchute and Crossharbour DLR stations.
Met Police Update: No Arrests Yet
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 2.23 pm on Wednesday, December 27 to reports of a stabbing on Manchester Road, near Millwall Park entrance. Officers attended with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. An 18-year-old man was found with a stab injury and taken to hospital where his condition is being assessed. An investigation is underway and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests.”
