Suspects Give Police the Slip After Botched Burglary in Tottenham
Early Morning Break-In Attempt
Just after 2.10 a.m. on Vicarage Road, Tottenham, two men tried to break into a building through the back door. Witnesses spotted the suspicious duo in action and alerted police immediately.
High-Speed Hunt Ends in Failure
Despite dispatching multiple police units and scrambling a police helicopter, officers failed to catch the suspects. The burglars fled across neighbouring gardens and vanished without a trace.
No Property Gains, Police Confirm
A Met Police spokesperson said, “It does not appear that they were able to gain access to any properties.” The attempted break-in left residents rattled but thankfully no damage or theft was reported.
Police continue to appeal for information on the whereabouts of the two men.
