In a heart-wrenching incident that unfolded early this morning, a man in his 50s tragically lost his life following a collision between a pedestrian and a car. The incident occurred at approximately 3:05 am on September 10th, sending shockwaves through the community.

Authorities swiftly responded to the scene on Harrow Road, where the fatal accident took place. Both officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service teams rushed to provide immediate assistance.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police issued the following statement: “Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a fatal collision in Westminster. Emergency services were called at around 3.50am on Sunday, 10 September, to a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Harrow Road, W2 near to Royal Oak underground station. Officers attended along with ambulance colleagues. The male pedestrian, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s family have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers.”

The spokesperson further added, “Road closures remain in place in the area as police continue their investigation and a full examination of the scene.
