Woman Sexually Assaulted on Victoria Park Pathway – Police Hunt Cyclist

Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted on a footpath in Victoria Park, Kent, late on Saturday night.

Attack on Quiet Park Footpath

The victim, a woman in her 30s, was walking through the park between 10.30pm and 11.45pm on June 15. She entered via Jemmett Road and headed towards Ford Way when a man on a bicycle approached her.

Suspect Drops Bike and Attacks

The man reportedly dropped his bike before launching the sexual assault. The woman fled but was followed to a nearby block of flats. Thankfully, some residents stepped in and chased the attacker away.

Police Seek Information to Nab Attacker

Kent Police’s Serious Crime Directorate has launched an investigation but have yet to catch the suspect.

Officers urge anyone with information to call the appeal line on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/115056/19.
