Police Hunt Woman After Verbal Attack on Cosham Shop Worker
Police have released CCTV images of a woman they want to question following a nasty verbal assault on a 19-year-old shop assistant at Peacocks in Cosham High Street.
Woman Threatens Young Staffer in Busy High Street
The incident happened just before midday on Wednesday, October 19. The woman, described as white, 30-35 years old, around 5ft 10in tall and of average build, was reportedly verbally abusive and threatening.
PC David Ronchetti of Cosham Police said: “The persistent aggression shown was very distressing for the victim, who managed to stay calm and professional throughout.”
Case of Mistaken Identity?
Police believe this could be a case of mistaken identity, adding the attack took place in broad daylight on a busy high street.
