A family in Hythe has been left heartbroken after a massive fire gutted their property, destroying everything inside. Fire investigators are now probing the cause of the devastating blaze.

A woman, who asked to remain anonymous, revealed her husband is “a broken man” after pouring countless hours into building and fitting out their home’s interior. The family had just begun moving in and had the exterior rendered when tragedy struck.
Kent Fire and Rescue Race to Control Inferno
Kent Fire and Rescue Service sent seven fire engines and a height vehicle to tackle the fire at the single-story building near Hythe seafront. The flames had spread to the roof, severely damaging the rafters.
“We are on the scene of a building fire in Dymchurch Road, Hythe,” a fire service spokesperson said. “Crews wearing breathing apparatus are extinguishing the flames with hose reel jets and main jets. While firefighting operations continue, the road has been closed.”
The community now rallies around the devastated family, as investigators continue their work amid the smoldering ruins.
