Leona Kadungure’s health has taken a devastating turn. She suddenly lost sight in one eye and became paralysed from the waist down. Doctors at Southampton University Hospital are stumped, with no diagnosis after multiple tests.
Family Fighting for Answers
Leona’s parents, Blessing and Ernest, along with her siblings Sean and Jayden, are desperate for a breakthrough. The family’s friend, Josie Hughes, launched a GoFundMe campaign to fund private tests and treatment. So far, they have raised £4,484 of their £8,000 goal from 150 generous donors.

“Leona has suddenly, without reason, become paralysed in both legs and blind in one eye,” Josie Hughes revealed. “Doctors can’t find a diagnosis or offer treatment. As parents, Blessing and Ernest must feel helpless.”
