The Selsey Coastguard Team rushed to East Beach at 8:11am Thursday after a vessel with steering troubles washed ashore.
Overnight Tides Smash Boat to Pieces
The vessel, already struggling since the day before, was battered by overnight tides and broke apart on the beach. Coastguards quickly assessed pollution risks and reported the situation to the Operations Centre, who alerted the boat’s owners.
