A man injured in a road traffic smash on Upper Wickham Lane yesterday afternoon is now in stable condition, police have confirmed.

Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, who took the pedestrian — a man — to a nearby hospital. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
