Bedroom blaze sparks emergency response in Broadstairs
Fire Breaks Out on Hugin Avenue
Fire crews raced to a bedroom fire in Broadstairs this Tuesday afternoon. The alarm was raised at 15:16 on March 18, prompting Kent Fire and Rescue Service to dispatch two fire engines to a property on Hugin Avenue.
Swift Action by Firefighters
Equipped with personal protective gear and breathing apparatus, firefighters doused the flames using high-pressure hose reel jets. The blaze was brought under control by 15:34.
No Injuries, Support Given
Thankfully, no one was hurt. The British Red Cross Volunteer Rapid Response Team was on hand to assist the occupants affected by the fire.
