The Kent and Sussex air ambulance swooped in to save the day after a pensioner suffered a nasty fall in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone, on Wednesday evening.
Helicopter Touches Down Near Bearsted Home
The skilled pilot landed the lifesaving chopper right in the Roseacre School field, allowing the flying doctors to rush to a property on The Landway. Their prompt action was crucial.
Rapid Response from Ambulance Crew
South East Coast ambulance crew also arrived on the scene shortly after 7pm, teaming up with air medics to stabilise the patient.
Patient Airlifted to Hospital
After urgent treatment, the injured pensioner was airlifted to hospital just after 8.10pm for further care.
