Emergency crews raced to the Gribble Inn on Gribble Lane, Oving, last night after a major fire broke out.
Firefighters Battle Fierce Flames
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “At 5.38pm, we were called to a fire at a pub in Gribble Lane, Oving.” Ten fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were deployed as crews fought hard to tame the blaze.
Residents Warned to Stay Clear
Locals were urged to avoid the area and keep doors and windows shut amid heavy smoke. Meanwhile, traffic has been stopped as High Street remains closed.
