Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the Marsh Road area of Hoveton at around 3pm after reports of a large smoke plume near Wroxham sparked concern. Residents were urged to keep windows and doors shut as thick smoke billowed across the area.
Crews from Wroxham, Sprowston, Carrow, and the swiftwater rescue team from Carrow worked tirelessly, wearing breathing apparatus and using main jets and hose reels to douse the intense blaze.
