The culprit now faces not only losing his bike but also footing the bill to recover it.

Chief Inspector Issues Strong Warning to Reckless Riders

“This type of anti-social behaviour can be extremely dangerous and cause a lot of distress for local residents. It is completely unacceptable for motorcyclists to ride in such a careless and inconsiderate manner,” said Chief Inspector Rhiannan Pepper of the Thanet Community Safety Unit.

“The man was given a chance to stop, but he ignored the caution and now has his bike seized. Most bikers ride responsibly — but this is a clear warning to those who don’t. We have the power to seize or even destroy vehicles causing a nuisance.”

“We take all reports seriously and will continue strong action against anti-social bikers,” she added.

Spot Dangerous Driving? Report it to Police

If you witness anti-social or dangerous driving, report it to the police immediately. Call 101 or submit an online report.

  • Note the vehicle’s registration number.
