Tragic End After QE Hospital Disappearance
Lesley, 61, vanished after leaving QE Hospital around 6.50pm on Monday. He made a brief call to a family member but never returned home to Columbia. An urgent appeal for information was launched.
Body Found in Washington
Police have been searching for Lesley and, sadly, a body was found today in the Birtley Road area of Washington. Formal ID is pending, but officers believe it is Lesley.

No Suspicious Circumstances
Police say there is no sign of third-party involvement in Lesley’s death. A report will be submitted to the coroner.
