Serious Crash Shuts Down A32 in Soberton Heath
Part of the A32 in Soberton Heath is sealed off after a nasty crash this afternoon. Police shut both directions between Budden’s Lane and Cott Street following a head-on collision between two riders just before 5pm.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police and ambulance crews were quick on the scene. The Thames Valley Air Ambulance landed nearby to help one rider, who was rushed with serious injuries to Queen Alexandra Hospital by road ambulance.
Second Rider Injured
The second rider, hurt in the collision outside Pump House Auctions on the A32, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with leg injuries.
Road Closure Causes Delays
The A32 was closed for two hours as emergency teams carried out recovery and cleanup operations.
