Two lifeboat crew members boarded the yacht to assess and deliver immediate medical assistance. While the Shoreham Lifeboat towed the disabled boat, the crew stayed onboard ensuring the patient’s condition was stable.

Safe Arrival and Medical Treatment at Littlehampton

The yacht was safely towed to Littlehampton harbour and handed over to Littlehampton Lifeboat crew for further support. Ambulance medics were waiting at the harbour and promptly took over care of the injured crew member, ensuring swift medical attention.
