Two men have been charged with drug offences after officers seized around 1kg of cocaine at an address in Trowbridge on 7 May. Wiltshire Police‘s Local Policing team, working with the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Orochi unit, made the arrests following a significant drug operation that targeted serious supply activity.

Major Cocaine Seizure

The operation led to the discovery of approximately 1 kilogram of cocaine, alongside other illegal substances. The haul represents a substantial blow to local drug trafficking in the area.

Two Men Charged

Christopher Cain, 35, of Studley Rise, Trowbridge, and Jaroslaw Gawrysewski, 51, of no fixed address, were charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis. Cain also faces a charge of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place after a knuckle duster was found at the scene. Both men have been remanded in custody ahead of their court appearance.

Court Appearance Scheduled

The accused are due to appear before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 8 May to face the charges brought against them following the joint police operation.

Wiltshire Police urge anyone with information about drug-related activity in the area to come forward confidentially. Witnesses can call 101, submit reports via the police website, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
