Dover Lifeboat and Rescue Helicopter Scramble to Water Emergency
The Dover RNLI all-weather lifeboat was launched just after 12.30pm on Thursday after two people were reported in trouble in the water near The Leas, Folkestone.
Helicopter and Extra Lifeboat Join Rescue Effort
Rescue helicopter 163 from Lydd was swiftly dispatched to the scene, joining a second lifeboat from Littlestone and Folkestone Coastguard search and rescue crews in the operation.
Shoreline Search Underway
The helicopter is now conducting a thorough shoreline sweep as the teams work together to locate and assist those in distress.
