Taxi Driver Arrested after Multi Vehicle Road Traffic Collision on St Mary’s Bridge in Portsmouth

Police have this evening arrested a taxi driver for drink driving after he cab was involved in a
following a multi vehicle collision on St Mary’s Road in Fratton.

Part of St May’s Road, including the bridge, was closed just before 10pm following the collision whilst Police investigators examined the scene and car parts were cleared.

The taxi driver, who was arrested by Police at the scene, collided with a Mini Cooper, a Nissan and a Ford outside the Cemetery entrance on St Mary’s Road.
