Kent Police quickly sealed off the road while recovery teams removed the vehicles involved, which caused significant traffic delays around the key junction with Ordnance Road. A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 11.45am on Thursday 5 February 2026 to reports of a collision involving two cars on Milton Road, Gravesend. Officers attended and closed the road while vehicles were recovered. The road has since reopened.”

Police cars and officers remained at the scene during the clearance, with motorists advised to avoid the area until the road reopened. Milton Road is now back open, easing the traffic he adaches for local drivers.
