Only on the Isle of Wight would your morning commute hit a prehistoric snag. This afternoon, a second triceratops – yes, a real three-horned dinosaur – was spotted roaming Perowne Way in Sandown.

Don’t confuse this with Isla Nublar. The Isle of Wight, England’s largest island after the mainland and its second most populated, is famous for its dinosaur fossils. But today, a live one seemed to have broken loose from the late Cretaceous period!
Commuters were left gawping as this herbivorous ceratopsid dinosaur took a leisurely stroll. Tri-horned trouble has certainly made the journey to work unforgettable.
