Stu Clelland Smashes Huge Painting Job at Smallbrook Stand
Stu Clelland, 49, a true Team Warrior legend, has taken on a monstrous task – painting the entire main stand at Smallbrook. The 1-based stalwart has been a constant presence at every Team Warrior working party since day one in October. He wrapped up this massive job just in time for the new season kick-off on Sunday.
Monumental Makeover
The team was so wowed by Stu’s hard graft, they’ve already named his favourite seat in the grandstand after him. That way, he can soak up the action on the speedway while admiring his handiwork.
“After Team Warrior refurbished and painted out the back of the pits, we thought it was time to freshen up the sponsors’ seating in the stand,” said Stu. “What started as a small job turned into a full-on mission for me. Kev Shepherd, my son Jack, and I pushed to get it all finished and looking spot on for the season start.”
Team Spirit Powers Success
Stu also praised the camaraderie at the Team Warrior weekends. “The team spirit is brilliant. I’d recommend it to anyone who fancies getting stuck in and becoming a Warrior fan.”
This latest feat cements Stu Clelland as a key player behind the scenes, proving he’s as dedicated off the track as the riders are on it.
