Police are hunting witnesses to a fatal road accident on Allington Lane near Hogwood Lane in Fair Oak earlier today (June 9).
At 12.35pm, emergency services rushed to the scene after reports a silver Skoda had careened off the road and ended up on the railway tracks.
Driver Dies Despite Emergency Rescue Attempt
Tragically, the driver died at the scene despite frantic efforts by rescue crews to free him. Authorities have informed the man’s next of kin. Police confirmed they will not release the victim’s identity until formal ID is complete.
