Peak Lane in Fareham was shut tight this morning after a pedal cyclist was slammed underneath a van in a serious crash.

Fire crews from Fareham and South Central Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. The cyclist was trapped under the vehicle before being freed just after 9am.
Air Ambulance Flies Rider to Hospital
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance airlifted the injured man to hospital. His condition remains unknown.
