Police Release CCTV after man was glassed in the Head at Portsmouth Tavern
Police have released CCTV images of a man police would like to speak to about an assault in the Park Tavern pub in Edinburgh Road on 15th April of last year. It is alleged that a 35-year-old man was punched in the face and had a glass thrown at him; he needed 11 stitches for a cut to his head. The suspect was described as: • White • Over 5’ 9” – 5’ 10” tall • Dark complexion • Slim build • Long, dark brown hair • Beard • Wearing jeans and a light-coloured, long-sleeved top There were a number of people in the pub at the time of the incident, who we have already spoken to. Officers are now appealing to the public to identify the man in the CCTV, as he may be able to help us with the investigation.
