Officers from Hampshire Constabulary would like to speak to him following a shoplifting and assault incident in Meeting House Lane, Ringwood. It took place sometime between 1.35pm and 2pm on Sunday 5 May. A man entered the Sainsbury’s store and left without paying for several bottles of alcohol. A member of staff approached him and asked him to return. The man then spat at the woman and walked off. He is described as: • aged 20 to 26 years old • around 6ft tall • of mixed race • slim build • short brown hair • wearing a black tracksuit top with the letters MAX on the back, black tracksuit bottoms and black and white trainers. Police have now released a photograph of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident. Do you know this man? Did you witness what happened?
