Two Ramsgate men to appear in court for Thanet burglar

Two Ramsgate men have been charged with a burglary in Minster and will appear in crown court next month.

Police on patrol in Minster arrested two men during the afternoon of Wednesday 27 November 2019.

Following an investigation by Kent Police, James Line, 31, of St Mildreds Road in Ramsgate and Richard Line, 53 of Hereson Road in Ramsgate were both charged with burgling a property in Tothill Street, Minster.

Items including a computer tablet, watches and jewellery were reported stolen during the burglary on 27 November.

The two men appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on 29 November. Richard Line was remanded in custody and James Line was released on bail.

The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court in January 2020.
