The Kent and Sussex air ambulance swooped into action on Sunday afternoon, landing in a field at Greenhill near Herne Bay just after 2:30pm. Flying medics raced to an incident at the sharp bend where Thordenwood Road meets Greenhill Road.
The casualty was swiftly airlifted to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
