Man in His 20s Shot Dead on Green Lanes
Police were called at 10:31pm on Tuesday, 21 September, after reports of a shooting on Green Lanes, near the West Green Road junction, North London.
Firearms officers, alongside the London Ambulance and Air Ambulance services, rushed to the scene. Sadly, a man believed to be in his early 20s was pronounced dead at 10:56pm.
Formal ID is pending, and officers are currently contacting his next of kin.
Two More Men Shot But Survive
Shortly before 11pm, police received a report from a north London hospital of a 24-year-old man who had self-presented with gunshot wounds. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Minutes later, another man in his 20s reported being shot while in the Green Lanes area. Officers and ambulance crews attended, and he was taken to an East London hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Third Victim Shot While Passing Earlier Scene
Detectives believe a third victim was shot as he rode past the scene of the initial shooting. Specialist Crime Command are now investigating the triple gun attack.
Several crime scenes remain active. No arrests have been made yet as inquiries continue.
