Woman Harassed on Crewe Train by Wine-Wielding Football Fan
Just after 6pm on Sunday, February 6, a woman on a train from Crewe found herself the target of unwanted attention from a group of football fans returning from a Liverpool match.
Man Makes Disturbing Advances on Train
A man holding a bottle of wine approached the woman, sat next to her, and repeatedly demanded her 1. He then told her he wanted to kiss her and proceeded to touch her inappropriately.
“There is nowhere for you to go,” the man told her when she asked him to get off.
Victim Escapes, Police Seek Witnesses
The woman moved down the carriage to escape, joining two Cardiff City FC fans and another woman who witnessed the vile behaviour. Police describe the suspect as white, mid-50s, medium build, with short brown hair. He wore a black gilet, navy jumper, and blue jeans.
Officers urge anyone who saw the incident, especially the two Cardiff City fans and the woman who stood with the victim, to come forward.
