Man Found Seriously Injured in Hampshire Dies After Weekend Attack
Tragic Discovery in Marlpit Lane
At around 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, police were called to Marlpit Lane following reports of a man found seriously injured on the land. The 47-year-old victim was rushed to hospital but sadly died two days later, on Monday, July 25.
Three Arrested and Charged with Murder
Following a swift investigation, officers arrested three men:
- Joseph Butler, 22, of Priors Leaze Lane, Hambrook
- Tarin Hopkins, 20, of Common Road, Hambrook
- Thomas Goldring, 20, of Lockerley Road, Havant
All three have been charged with murder and are currently remanded in custody. They are due for a preliminary hearing on Monday, August 1 at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
