A Man And A Woman Are Facing Multiple Charges, Including Manslaughter, After The Death Of A Baby Girl In Nuneaton, Police Have Confirmed.
The two Nuneaton residents face three counts in connection with the death
of one-year-old Elaina Rose Aziz in an August 2020 incident.
The 37-year-old man and 27-year-old woman are charged with manslaughter by
gross negligence, causing or enabling the death of a child, and
deliberately assaulting/ill-treating/negligently
assaulting/ill-treating/neglecting a child or young person.
They are scheduled to appear in Coventry Magistrates Court next week.
Six weeks after being informed that her cancer would be gone by Christmas,
a young woman dies.
Elaina, a three-week-old boy, died after going into cardiac arrest at a
home in Top Knot Close in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, on the evening of August
6, 2020.
Warwickshire Police initiated an investigation into her death after the
one-year-old died in hospital.
In a heartwarming family tribute, Baby Elaina was hailed as “lovely inside
and out.”
