Three Teens Snatch Food and Phone from Delivery Driver in Broad Daylight
South Yorkshire Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a takeaway delivery driver was robbed by teenagers in Armthorpe last Saturday evening.
The Heist in Broad Daylight
The drama unfolded around 8pm BST on Armthorpe Road near Sandall Beat Lane. The driver had stopped in a layby after delivering to an address with no order. While trying to contact the customer, three white teenage boys, around 16 to 18 years old and stocky in build, suddenly opened the passenger door. They snatched food, tried to grab cash, and even went for the victim’s mobile phone before fleeing down Sandall Beat Lane.
One of the suspects is described as having ginger hair.
