Tragic Pedestrian Smash in Malvern: Woman Dies After Red Fiat Crashes on Pavement
A horror crash struck Malvern on Tuesday afternoon when a red Fiat 500 mounted the pavement on Church Street, hitting six pedestrians. Among them was an elderly woman who suffered critical injuries and sadly later died despite rushed medical care. The smash happened just after midday.
Five Others Injured in Pavement Horror

West Mercia Police confirmed the elderly victim’s identity is known but withheld pending family notification.
Driver Cooperating as Police Probe Incident
The Fiat driver stayed at the scene and is fully cooperating with officers. No arrests have been made while detectives hunt for answers behind the cause of the crash.
Sergeant Liam Bennet of West Mercia Police said: “We’re working hard to understand what happened and how the car came to mount the pavement and strike the pedestrians. While our investigation continues, I would ask people to avoid speculating about what happened.”
