Vanished Without a Trace: Young Man Missing in Eastwood for Over a Month

Abdul, 25, was last spotted in Eastwood on Sunday, 12 February. CCTV caught him at 6:33pm crossing Eldon Road and heading into Eastwood Park, dressed head-to-toe in black.

Last Known Whereabouts – Eastwood Park

Despite door-to-door searches and scouring CCTV footage, police have no clue where Abdul went after entering the park. They suspect he may have walked along the canal towpath towards the train station or Rotherham town centre.

Authorities are pleading with locals to check dash cams, CCTV, and doorbell footage for any sign of Abdul’s movements that evening.

Police Intensify Search with Public’s Help

  • Saturday 11 March: Officers spoke to staff at Parkgate Shopping Park, retailers on Fitzwilliam Road, and visitors at Eastwood Park.
  • Monday 13 March: Officers continue door-to-door enquiries in the area, urging anyone with info to come forward.

Supt Andy Wright urged, “If you see our officers out and about, come and say hello. Even the smallest detail – a glimpse or dash cam footage from that night – could crack this case wide open and help bring Abdul home.”

Family’s Heartbreaking Plea

Abdul’s family describe him as “generous and honest” and say their family feels incomplete while he’s missing. In an emotional message to Abdul, they said:

“Abdul, if you are listening to this, please get in touch and let us know you are okay. We want nothing more than to have you back home where you are safe and where you belong.”
