Homeless Man Charged With Murder of Peter Littlefair in Early Morning Fight
Conor McCarthy Held Over Fatal Incident
Conor McCarthy, a man with no fixed address, has been charged with the murder of 57-year-old Peter Littlefair. McCarthy is set to appear at Willesden Magistrates Court this Saturday, 18 March.
Police Called to Chester Drive Brawl
Emergency services were alerted at 2:02am on Thursday, 16 March, after reports of a fight outside Peter’s home on Chester Drive. Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
Paramedics tried to save Peter, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation Underway, Public Appeal Made
Another man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and later charged as McCarthy. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Specialist Crime Command are leading the inquiry.
Peter’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from trained officers.
