A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue confirmed crews are making steady progress. “Five fire engines remain at the scene,” they said. “No injuries have been reported.”

Kent Police have cordoned off Leysdown Road to support fire-fighting efforts. A police spokesperson said: “Officers arrived promptly and closed the road to help emergency crews.”
