Man in his 20s stabbed dead in shocking Wembley attack
Police were called to Olympic Way, Wembley, just after 11pm on Sunday, 24 September, following reports of a stabbing.
Man Found with Stab Wounds – CPR Attempted
Officers arrived to find a man in his mid-20s suffering from stab injuries. Emergency CPR was performed at the scene until paramedics from the London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service took over. The victim was rushed to a North London hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Investigation Underway – No Arrests Yet
The victim’s next of kin have been informed, though formal identification is still pending. A post mortem will be carried out in due course.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime North team have launched a full investigation. Multiple inquiries are underway as they hunt for those responsible.
No arrests have been made so far.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers said: “My team is working relentlessly to uncover what caused this tragic incident. We understand the victim was chased and attacked by a group of suspects. If you were in the area or saw anything suspicious, no matter how small, please come forward and speak to us. CCTV footage is being reviewed and every detail counts. Information can also be given anonymously through Crimestoppers.”
Chief Superintendent Dan Knowles, Brent policing lead, added: “Our hearts go out to the family and friends of this young man taken far too soon. We know this will worry the community, but our Specialist Crime Command officers are working tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice. Local officers will also be increasing their presence to provide reassurance. Please approach them with any information or concerns.”
