Appeal For Information: Cctv Images Released In Charity Shop Burglary Investigation

Merseyside Police are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying a man captured in CCTV images related to a burglary at St Johns Hospice Charity Shop in Bromborough. The incident occurred between 8pm on Thursday, 31 August 2023, and 01.00 on Friday, 1 September.

According to reports, the offender initially broke into the charity shop on Allport Road, leaving the premises but later returning. Inside the shop, the radio was turned up as the suspect forcibly entered a till drawer and made off with a stolen laptop before leaving via the rear towards Greenfield Road.

In the aftermath of the burglary, officers have meticulously conducted CCTV and witness inquiries to pinpoint the suspect. Two images of a man have now been released, with Detective Inspector Andrew Schofield emphasising the significance of community cooperation in solving this despicable crime.
