Crook Breaks Into Charity Shop — Police Need Your Help!
Merseyside Police are on the hunt for a burglar who targeted St Johns Hospice Charity Shop in Bromborough. The break-in happened late on Thursday, 31 August 2023, stretching into the early hours of Friday, 1 September.
Burglar Caught on CCTV Steals Laptop
The suspect first smashed his way into the Allport Road shop, left briefly, then came back to force open a till. He made off with a stolen laptop, escaping out the back towards Greenfield Road.
Police Release Images — Spot the Culprit?
After combing through CCTV and talking to witnesses, officers have released two images of the man they want to find. Detective Inspector Andrew Schofield slammed the crime as “despicable,” saying:
“To break into a charity shop where people volunteer and raise money for their community is a despicable crime, and our officers are determined to find the person responsible.”
