Set against the backdrop of the iconic Battersea Power Station, the rink presents an oddly shaped course with a majestic Christmas tree at its center. The sizeable rink, coupled with the mesmerizing ambiance of the glowing power station, creates a magical atmosphere for skaters.
Visiting at night amplifies the charm, as the combination of twinkling lights, festive music, and the stunning city skyline crafts an unforgettable experience. It’s an environment that can transport visitors into the heart of a “beautiful, slightly cheesy Christmas rom-com.
Adding to the allure is an atmospheric bar equipped with cozy outdoor pods, reminiscent of those along the Thames but with a homely touch. These pods are adorned with festive decorations and equipped with heaters, offering a warm retreat post-skating. Enjoying a drink here, accompanied by friends and live music, can round off the skating experience perfectly.
The site also features fairground rides, including an old-fashioned Ferris wheel and a merry-go-round, appealing to the young and the young at heart.
