Three teenagers have been apprehended following a reported robbery at the Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock. The incident, which occurred around 7.05pm on Friday, January 5, involved the assault of a 14-year-old boy who had his bag stolen at Puttshack.
A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old from London, along with a 17-year-old from East Tilbury, were arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of robbery. As of now, all three individuals remain in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
Police are urging anyone with information, CCTV footage, dash cam recordings, or any relevant details related to the incident to come forward. The public is encouraged to contact the police, quoting the crime reference number 42/2640/24.
