Early Sunday Morning 7th January 2024 In a remarkable joint rescue operation, Metropolitan Police officers and the London Fire Brigade successfully saved several people and two dogs from a blaze on Hilda Vale Road, Orpington.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, saw a prompt response with six police cars, three fire engines, and three ambulances rushing to the scene, along with an incident officer from the London Ambulance Service after it was reported that those in the property exit was cut off by fire.
