Woman Critically Injured in Early Morning Bersted Crash
Sussex Roads Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a serious collision in Bersted. The smash happened around 6:40am on March 19 on Chichester Road near Bucksham Avenue, when a car struck a 77-year-old local woman.
Victim Airlifted to Hospital with Life-Threatening Injuries
The elderly woman was rushed by air ambulance to Royal Sussex County Hospital with severe injuries and remains in a critical condition.

A 53-year-old man driving a green Skoda Octavia has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by reckless driving. He has since been released on bail as police continue their investigation.
