Four Arrested After Brutal Assault on Police in Hereford
Four people have been charged following a violent incident outside the Piranha Bar in Union Street, Hereford on March 30. The attack left one police officer seriously injured.
Police Officer Hospitalised After Attack
Officers were called to the scene on April 1, where a police cordon was set up. During the fracas, multiple officers were assaulted. One officer suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital but is expected to recover.

- Richard Quinn, 47, Little Birch: Charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm with intent, intentional strangulation, and common assault by beating. He has appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court.
- Alex Quinn, 18, Little Birch: Charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm with intent and common assault by beating. Both Richard and Alex are bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on April 30.
- Carolynn Quinn, 44, Bridge Street: Faces two charges of assaulting an emergency worker and theft from a person. She is bailed to appear at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
- Robynn Quinn, 22, Fownhope: Charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker. Also bailed to appear at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
