The public are being urged to stop using a child’s car seat as it could lead to the parent dropping the seat with the child inside.

Hazard

Kinderkraft has issued a safety alert for its I-CARE Car Seat due to a potential risk of injuries. The issue arises from the carry handle fastener, which can loosen during use. This poses a significant danger, especially when carrying the car seat outside the vehicle.

The affected seats within the specified batch range do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Corrective Action

As a precautionary measure, Kinderkraft has recalled the affected I-CARE Car Seats from end users. If you own a car seat within the affected batch numbers, please discontinue use immediately and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for exchange or replacement.
