A man in his 50s has died following a collision on the Itchen Bridge in Southampton. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 25, when the man, who was walking on the bridge, became involved in a collision with a motorcycle.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 7:15 p.m. The man was taken to the hospital in a life-threatening condition but tragically passed away on Sunday. Hampshire Police have confirmed his death and are now renewing their appeal for witnesses to come forward.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 31-year-old man from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released on police bail until December 22, as the investigation continues.
